My name is Neomi Caban and I am the designer of the
jewelry you are about to see. I am a retired Pediatrician with New York City
roots, although I presently reside in Pensacola, FL. I moved to Pensacola with my two
sons and my dog, Cinnamon to begin a new phase in our lives.
During some of my spare time, I began designing jewelry for family and friends. With their
encouragement I have taken upon the endeavor of starting a jewelry-design business. I have named
my business "Carmenique" after my unique and wonderful mother, Carmen.
In my store you will find a collection of one-of-a kind handmade necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
All my designs are original with my design style ranging anywhere from sophisticated and elegant to fun
and whimsical. I use only quality components in all my pieces. These components include:

Recently, I've added Handmade Polymer Clay pendants, Dichroic beads and Vermeil findings to my designs. You will see that I am not afraid to combine different and unconventional components together in one piece. This is what makes it a Carmenique design.
I've also recently dared to try my hands at glass-bead making (lampwork). What an exciting new adventure this is for me! I plan to expand my line of lampwork beads as I continue to and learn and master the more advanced techniques of lampwork.
